Important Information

We’ll be getting married and then having a party at:

If you’re coming to the ceremony, please make sure you arrive for 3:30pm.

If you’re joining us for the reception, please arrive for 7pm.

Rough timeline 
15:30 – ceremony guests arrive at the Spielman Centre
16:00 – ceremony starts
16:35 – drinks around the Spielman Centre
17:45 – sit down dinner in the Anglican Chapel as well as speeches & cutting the cake
19:00 – first dance back in the Spielman Centre & reception guests arrive
00:00 – bedtime!

Photographs 
We would love you to take photographs of our day. We kindly ask if you could not take any photos during the ceremony itself as it is a small venue and so we all need to support the official photographer and videographer to be able to get the best shots without a sea of screens in their way! We promise to share these photos with you all when we get them so you can relive the wedding with us.

The hashtag for social media will be #charkwedding – please use this on any photos you upload so we can see them too!

Food
For those attending the ceremony, the dinner will be a hot buffet with the wedding cake for pudding – if you have dietary requirements, please make sure to mention them when you RSVP online – everyone will be catered for.

Dress code
Our dress code is fairly relaxed – for example, if you’d rather wear an open collared shirt without a tie, that’s totally fine. We want you to feel comfortable so come in whatever makes you happy (unless this is a very fancy floor length white dress)

The reception 
The reception will be a disco with a photo-booth and some quieter seating in the bar area.
There will be a cash bar at the reception and there may be some leftover wine from dinner behind the bar for you to enjoy on us.
The reception will finish around midnight.

Children
Let us know if you’d like to bring young children – we haven’t made any particular arrangements to keep kids entertained but by all means they can skid around the dance floor!
